Customs & Duties
When placing an international order with Dapple Equestrian, please be aware that you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees required by your country. These charges are not included at checkout and must be paid upon your package's arrival in the destination country.
Since customs regulations and fees vary globally, we are unable to provide an estimate of these costs. Typically, the courier handling your shipment will cover these charges initially and then contact you for payment before delivery. If you do not pay the required fees and your order is returned to us, we will issue a refund minus all shipping costs (both to and from your location) and any duties we are charged.
To avoid unexpected charges, we strongly advise researching your country’s import regulations before ordering. Your local customs office or postal service can provide guidance on potential costs.
It is your responsibility to understand and comply with any import regulations in your country before completing a purchase. Dapple Equestrian cannot be held accountable for any customs charges, delays, or restrictions imposed by your local authorities.
If you refuse delivery due to unpaid duties or taxes, you will not be eligible for a full refund. A 20% handling fee will be applied to any order that is refused or returned due to non-payment of customs charges. Additionally, original shipping costs will not be refunded, and return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund. The remaining balance will be processed once the package has been received back at Dapple Equestrian.
For further information on customs procedures and charges in your country, please contact your local customs office before placing an order.
